Default QQ - Against a Flop Re Raise

Limit: $1/$2
10 players

3rd hand at table so no reads on villains.

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+2 raises</font>, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, 3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">BB caps</font>, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (12.5SB, 4 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+2 raises</font>, Hero ???

We're never folding against unknowns, so we may as well 3bet -- especially since we're in position -- and see what happens.

I like a fold here. If the BB will fold AK then a 3-bet is a viable option. I like coldcalling more then 3-betting for the most part though.

Given the action so far, it looks certainly reasonable that Hero is way behind here.

I tend to agree.. That much pf action indicates pocket 99-AA or AK, and with 3 other players I'd be crying in my booties. (I tend to do that)

I coldcall and see what happens, but folding isn't be too far from right (it could even be right). I hate folding overpairs on the flop.

At this point, you may have the best hand.
If you don't have the best hand, you still can improve it.
You have about 6 outs to improve(Q x2, J x4). Pot odds are 12:1.

What about that way of thinking?
