Default 270 BB deep with bottom set

6 handed 5/10 NL. Villain is really laggy preflop, but fairly straight foward and weak post flop. He's still a fish who overplays TP though. I have 2770, he covers.

He raises to 45 in MP after a limper. This could mean anything, really. But I'd assume sc/2 face cards/Ax. I smooth call 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in CO. I usually 3 bet this but I felt like calling this time. Limper folds.

Pot's at 115. Flop comes 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. He pots it. I don't feel comfortable folding to him if I make a huge raise and he pushes. Give me a line.

Hmmm, I think you should change your attitude to: "I want money in the pot, what best disguises my hand?".

I just raise the flop.

this is actually a tough spot. I'd raise, no doubt, I don't wanna neccesarily get it in this deep w/ bottom set when there's also a straight possibility though. is he gonna felt tptk this deep? I'd play it more passively then I normally would. we don't neccesarily want the board of pairing either b/c he could easily have KJ. is he the type of fish who would slowplay a straight here?

QFT

Being so deep you can re-eval if he reraises.

True I feel like you overthink everything. This is the easiest flop raise ever.

unless villain is REALLY bad, then it's the easiest call ever

I am very interested in a range of hands you would raise here.

Those of you saying raise, to how much? Keep in mind I don't wanna fold vs this guy and that he could very well overplay JK. He probably won't semi bluff with QK though.
