Default JJ gets minraised PF, early in tournament

Early in the tournament, Villain has been limping a few times and folding to raises. I was told my PF raise was way too huge. What do you guys do against this raise?

What's the buy in? And also why such a large raise preflop?

330 is overkill...200 is fine. As played I would lean towards a fold. He understands your massive raise and is likely repopping with a better overpair.

Well, I do agree that your raise was a bit much. 180-200 would be the range I'd go for. His raise leaves him with 810 chips behind him, meaning he's basically pot committed. I'd push or fold. Sticky situation though. What was the result?

Be happy to check it down. A worse hand isn't calling and a better hand isn't folding.

Your raise is overkill. 130 extra is not going to be the difference between a guy folding and a guy calling. Anyways, you're getting odds to call the re-raise. So, do so.

Get to showdown as cheaply as possible if you don't hit your set. Seems like villain is slowplaying something big.
