Default Laptop Recommendation Needed

I need to buy a new laptop to replace my Dell Latitude D610, which has been a strong workhorse and has taken a ton of abuse from me. I was going to get another upgraded version but they dont make it anymore. I am thinking of getting another Dell because I have had good luck, but I thought I would solicit recommendations first.

My needs:
1) Very heavy data crunching - million record query type stuff. I have an Oracle DB and server SQL Enterpise Servers that I work with and transfer data back and forth from my laptop
2) Screen resolution on 1280x1024 if possible
3) Photoshop
4) No games
5) Weight and Battery life not terribly important
6) 15" screen
7) Connect to multiple monitors if possible
8) Trying to stay under $1,500

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciately.

Well gee, how bout a Dell E1505 Core 2 Duo decked out. You can easily get one for less than $1500 with smokin specs.

I think this is a pretty good starting place:

Better Speced 1505

The base 1505 is $799 but this confige starts with a faster processor 1.66 vs 1.60, bigger HD 120 vs 80, better video card a 256mb one, their best screen, and a draft N wireless card for only $899. I just bought one based of this starting pointed and it was around $1200 with 2 gb of RAM and a 2.0gHZ processor.
