Villain is even a better sample of 55/12 over 80.
His AF on the flop is 12. I cbet quite often. He had previously pushed me out of a pot or two when I had air but I dont think he had much either. I decided go all in at the next good opportunity. Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 3 players Converter Stack sizes: Button: $12.85 SB: $15.45 Hero: $14.75 Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Button raises to $0.2, SB calls, Hero raises to $1, Button calls, SB folds. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2.2, 2 players) Hero bets $1.55, Button raises to $3.1, Hero raises all-in $12.2, Button calls all-in $8.75. Was this a good opportunity given the action? |

Dude, I'm already like 8 buyins down for today on hands like this and one you saw before.. There must be something wrong... Or I just suck at hands reading.

well in this example you dont, your read is that he's a maniac, K8 is probably in his range, plus theres a good chance he could be bluffing

Since he's a maniac, he is more likely to have air than a weaker K IMO. Getting AI here is probably fine, but I think a crAI on turn is better.

too fancy and unecessary, whenever you can keep things simple it's usually better to do so
