Batshitinsane neighbor story #56298

So last night I'm watching the UFC fight with my buddy Dave and my Fiance Amy. The first fight is pretty exciting and the guy I'm rooting for wins by TKO. So we're cheering and stuff when all of a sudden theres this very loud pounding on my front door, which then flies open, it wasn't locked for some reason. This dude busts into my apartment in his slippers and bathrobe and starts shouting at me about making to much noise. I tell him to get the [censored] out, he keeps yelling, so I walk over, push him out the door and lock it. He keeps banging on it, I tell him to go away or I'm calling the cops. He goes away.

10AM this morning, he's banging on the door again, wakes me up. I tell him to go away I'm sleeping. He starts screaming again that I make too much noise and that his wife needs to sleep, and "I will protect her from you!" LOL, that took the cake, I'm not sure how I threatened his wife.

Anyway so we go to the local police station to file a complaint. The desk cop says they'll probably arrest him for Trespass and Harassment.

Cliff Notes: Nut job neighbor breaks down my door, comes in my apartment starts yelling, won't leave, I push him out the door. He comes back this AM wakes me up. I go to cops today and have him arrested.

Next time he knocks, open the door and meet him with this...

He'll STFU very quickly.

Police are definately the way to handle this.

Funny thing is, I'll bet that if he had knocked on the door and politely asked you to keep it down you would have.

Is this just a continuation from last night, or did he think you were making more noise in the morning?

I think it was a continuation from last night, b/c my apt was totally silent, I was sound asleep.

I wonder if the cops arrested him today. I hope he spent NYE in the pokey.
