Flop 443 rainbow. BB checks, I bet [/ QUOTE ] 1. What do you think the 22/13/1.54 Button puts you on after you open from hijack, call his 3-bet 3-handed, and donk a flop you know he is going to autobet? 2. What does it mean when he raises the flop? 3. What do you think he's going to do on the river? 4. Do you think you played the hand well? |

Re: 20-40 fairly interesting hand
If hero c/c flop and leads turn and river, I think the river bet has a lot more FE than it does here. Donking the flop is usually going to be a pair, and the villain can probably realize this and call down. I probably just c/f this river personally.

He doesnt play well so for him to actualy put me on a hand I dont think matters much here. My standard line would be to call check call and bet a non scary river and fold to a raise. 2. What does it mean when he raises the flop? He has a 3 bet hand 3. What do you think he's going to do on the river? 50% chance he folds 88-QQ prolly. 4. Do you think you played the hand well? [/ QUOTE ] Yes |

Re: 20-40 fairly interesting hand
street by street.
pf - easy. flop - bet into him w/ vulnerable hand, hope he raises overs to force out the bb. well played. turn - I really like this bet. it serves a couple purposes. first, it prevents him from taking a free card with AQ, AJ, etc... second, it picks up some folding equity against 88-QQ unless he's good at reading hands in which case he knows you don't have a King. third, it's an easy fold to a raise so you don't end up calling down and letting him value bet you perfectly if he does have a King and the river blanks off. river - if you really think he'll let go of 88-QQ, sure. |
