I was wondering if anyone tried to clear the FT bonus while getting rakeback. From what I understand, the bonus would count agains the rakeback. I'm not sure if I would be getting any rakeback if this is the case. Can anyone confirm?
Also, is the FT bonus worth doing if I'm an occasional player playing 2/4 Limit? (~350hands/week) |

Yes you will. The bonus is deducted from your gross rake but you are still getting rakeback on whatever rake you have generated in excess of the signup bonus.
Don't know the answer to your other question. |

...as for the second question...
Yes it is still worth you getting the bonus because it is worth more than just the rakeback alone. Kind regards RakeTheRake.com |

Yes on both, my first FT bonus was at 2/4, I play a little more than you but my bonus got released in $20 increments and I always netted a small amount after the MGR took a hit, FTP Doug said something like in the 50% range if you include the RB+bonus if you put it together.

I am trying to work out the numbers right now, so please correct me if I'm wrong. Until you clear your 100% first time deposit bonus, you get $.06 for every dollar in the rake, so...
FTP points = $.06/$1 rake RB Bonus = 27% = $.27/$1 and "Bonuses are deducted from rake" so if your rake total is $100: $6 deposit bonus $100-$6 = $94 adjusted rake after the deposit bonus is deducted .27 x $94 = $25.38 for the RB bonus So if your collecting RB while your bonus has not yet cleared, you are receiving a total of: $6 + $25.38 = $31.38/$100 rake from the deposit bonus and the RB bonus. It sucks that the bonus is deducted, but if my math is right, you're still making an extra 4.38%. The deduction only amounts to -1.62%, which isn't that much, really. Are these numbers correct? |

MF,
I don't think that is correct but I am not sure. I think that bonus clears at more than .06 of rake paid. I recall rakeback being less than bonus cleared when I was clearing the bonus (maybe 50% of bonus cleared?) but I didn't really do any math at the time. |

If i were to sign up on fulltilt soley for the deposit bonus, should i even sign up with an affilliate for rakeback? Would the bonus alone be more profitable for me then bonus+rakeback?

[/ QUOTE ] Bonus + rakeback is always more profitable than one or the other alone. Depending on the stakes played, you could still receive some rakeback while clearing the bonus. You might also find you really like the site and want to continue playing there after the bonus is gone. Best Regards, Justin RakeBacks.com |

At Full Tilt I would think you would always get some rakeback clearing the bonus. The bonus is at most 54% rb.
