Default Defending the BB with connectors

I have been defending the BB with connectors from 45 up (for 1 bet). I can't remeber the last time I hit a flop. I am spewing chips with these calls? Should I be folding everything lower than 9To?

vs. a steal or vs. an UTG raise? T9o and up vs. a steal is way too tight. 45o and up is maybe a little loose vs. a steal. I'd defend neither against an UTG raise.

I rarely if ever defend with 45o except against poor lags.

It depends on the raisers PFR% and his position but I defend with most of the other ones. But I may be defending too much with them against an EP raiser.

I think if it is a leak against most players its a very small one. My guess is its in the break even range.

I'd agree with not calling a steal with 54o. However, I don't need a hand much better that that to defend in the BB. I am definitely pretty loose when the raise comes from the CO or button.
