Default 99 UTG against unknown BB

This is a fairly common situation I wanted to check up on here. The BB is an unknown.

Converter

Pre-flop: (9 players) Threads13 is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Threads13 raises, 7 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4.5SB, 2 players)

Because there a ton of hands that you are ahead of here that an aggressive blind defender (even if you aren't on a steal) will raise in this situation.

Fair enough, but we don't know that this is an aggressive blind defender. He is a complete unknown. What range do you give an unknown in this spot?

I normally raise, if he 3-bets you are most of the time behind (rarely a flushdraw/straight draw/2 overs) and you are drawing to 2 outs.

Meh I'd just fold. Having called down in this situation about 49374 times I can attest to the fact that they always have a king. We know that they shouldn't bet one but they always do and to be honest it isn't that bad of a plan against someone who is thinking past the 1st level.

I often bet there with having hit (OESD/FD/middle pair etc) and take it down often, which is a good result. I see some regulars do the same.

Sounds like a good play... but we have no reason to believe that this guy is aggressive enough to donk middle pair here.

ok, but the way we get reads is sometimes to call down a marginal situation and maybe win or lose a hand, not fold to a flop donk because we don't have a boat already.
