This board isnt particularly drawy, it does look like he has a set though, but you have too much showdown value to fold, especially as at those limits you're going to get the same situation against AK AQ A7 etc against a lot of the bad players.

Was 8th hand, didnt play with villain before.

After the turn I was almost sure he had a set, called down because of good odds and could have A7/AK

I'd call down from the turn. That check-3bet on the flop followed with a bet on the turn after you cap doesn't look very good for you.

Looks pretty good to me.

You're ahead of BB about half the time on the turn, so if you can get MP2 to call 2 bets occasionally, the raise is definitely worth it.

The 3-bet suggests a set, but clearly folding would be a mistake.

If we just call we are offering the player to our left ~11:1. This gives him odds to call to a lot of hands with at least 4 outs. Are you thinking that MP has at best 4 outs a majority of the time here due to his flop play?

I think the fact is that we're behind more times than not here. Protecting your hand when you're behind isn't usually a wise strategy.
