I am working on a project at work where I need to implement a wiki like product. Does anyone have any experience with them? There seem to be some offshoots of the basic mediawiki like instiki and others.

Also, the initial setup of them also doesn’t seem horrible, but does anyone have experience maintaining one? Need to find out aside from basic moderation and site management issues if they require a decent amount of time and effort to maintain. Note, this would probably be done by someone more on the website design side (they mostly know html and basic things) then server side if that matters.

If anyone can pass along some information or decent sites I would appreciate it.
