Default Due Process for the Minority Opinion

All posters,

I suggest the current rules of conduct be amended in a way that will put some teeth into the consequence of being a troll as well as cut way back on the arbitrary use of the term "troll" whereby someone, without knowing what they did wrong, becomes in a Kafkaesque manner tried and convicted unawares.

First, there should be an explicit set of rules that apply specifically to trolling, so when someone labels as "troll-like" the content of another poster, the accusation can and must also cite an applicable anti-trolling prohibition and show exactly where the supposed violation occurred. Second, anyone showing a pattern of the frivolous use of the term "troll" will themselves be guilty of being a troll. Third, this new policy would be enforced by the mods, who can apparently be relied upon to act impartially.

You've been here a month and half and have 480 posts almost exclusively it seems in the SMP and politics forums. And Borodog, whom David Sklansky has called one the smartest guys in the SMP forum, if not the smartest, has labeled you a troll. Which no doubt is the impetus for this thread.

You clearly are a troll, and most likely the reincarnation of a previous troll account. And one of the weapons of a troll is to attack those who point out your trollishness. canis589 and other well-known politics forum trolls would heartily agree with your OP and have made similar complaints in the past.

So troll on and quit whining when you get named for what you are.

I took a couple minutes to read some of Skidoo's post.

He not a troll, he's a rabble rouser. :P

What a meaningless post and an excellent illustration of why specific guidelines are needed.

Skidoo if you're going to be taken seriously in this thread you have to fess up to whether you are Sharkey or not instead of dodging it.

Nominated for the prestigious Most hilarious sentence of the century award.

Thanks for the hysterical laugh

I think you are right, but it opened my eyes to how "corrupted and full of hypocrisy" this place can sometimes be.
