Default OT - Are Dell 2001 still the monitor of choice for multitablers

No one is on the technical help forum so though here was the best place to get a response.

Since Party beta is out and a larger selection of good monitors to pick from are the Dell 2001FP still the ideal monitor for multitablers? Or is anyone using larger or widescreen models?
Basically what is the ideal.

Cheers

How many tables do you want to play? How small do you want the windows to be?

Everyone says since 9 tabling on one 2001 that a dual/triple/quad setup isn't needed..but I couldn't live with less than 2 monitors...

Keep in mind that just because 1 monitor now fits 9, this doesn't mean that it's pleasant to play with. Even though they're all on one screen, they're quite small.

Ok to make it easier to answer, if you had $1000 to $1500 to spend on a monitor for multitabling which would it be?

Get 2 2001fps for $900 or less, they seriously rock for the price.

Related question. Whhen I get my 2001fps from Stars. If I set it up together with my old screen, can they run on different resolution? Or must I pick the lowest if they are going to work together?
