Default Attacking the \"Kill Phil\" Mega tight players (15-25$)

Hello all,
My first post in quite a while. I play PokerStars 15+1 and 25+2 tourneys and now that I have Poker tracker running, I see quite a few of the same players over an over.

Since I have played with them 1 or 2 times before, I sometimes see people with a VIP of 5% or so and I want to properly ATTACK them.

These people fold (unless mega premium hands) until its 50/100 or 100/200 and they have ~1200-1300 chips. Then they start moving all in with any Ace, and play what I feel is the Kill Phil version of MTT tourneys.

I want to know how people in general attack these players. Sure stealing a 15/30 blind from them helps, but there has to be more to it.

Thanks....VI

Hm...actually you can`t do anything different than playing correct ICM pushbotting...If you know their range, you can adjust your play perfectly to it.
I think there is not more to say, or i missounderstoud your question.

I thought this was standard.

Aren't those players you talking about not the same as the winning players?

You are looking for the optimal defense against the optimal style - why not just adapt it?

i am wondering that that is really the optimal style!? do you all (i am talking to winning players) are so tight in the early game?) dont you limp in with KJo or suited connectors in mid-late position?

FYP

Position, blind sizes, table image and stacks all play a larger part of the game than our hole cards.

Good luck! Slacka

First off, these are probably the winning players, Im a winning player as well.

Let me rephrase the question then. These players that are so tight are probably playing on 4 tables at once. That being the case, thier attention level is not the same as mine when I am only on 1 or 2 screens.

What are the weaknessess of their game?
How can I attack it properly?

Of course, I am able to steal a LOT more from them, since I know their CALLING standards, and some of their pushing standards. But I was hoping for more advanatages, so I was asking the board of other things that I can do to take advantage of them.

thanks........VI

You can probably steal a bit from them early if they're in the blinds and it's folded to you in position. However, it's almost never folded to you in these lower buyins and the blinds don't mean too much to you early.

Eventually, they're going to pick up on the fact that you're raising them more than you should be and they will play back at you more often.

If you find yourself in a raised pot early with one of these players, don't assume they're going to be pushed off a pot easily just because they've been tight to this point. Be very cautious unless you have a big hand.

You see these guys everywhere, I wonder if there is a poker forum most of them post on

Honestly you might be able to steal their blinds a little more often, but post flop if you are constantly coming in with weaker hands - you have to play very cautious for these plays to be positive for you.

LOL, QFT!!!

I was gonna say something similar. The best way to play with them is not to play with them...
If i am multitabling 15 tables, you can seriously think of throwing away your Queens if i reraise you PF.
I think thats the best way to adjust to "these guys". If they are in, you better watch out and play only premium hands...
