Default 200NL - Set on dry flop - what\'s my best line?

Villain is 19/16 over a couple hundred hands and I'm pretty sure is a 2+2er. Either way, has been playing smart the whole time. I'm interested on other people's lines for max value here. (FWIW, I think Villain has at worst a big ace here, likely an overpair. Oh, and I normally would 3-bet pre-flop here but I think I misclicked multi-tabling. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players

Stack Sizes:
UTG: $124.60
Villain: $325.55
CO: $200
Button: $184.40
Hero: $280.70
BB: $214

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Villain raises to $7, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB folds.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($30, 4 players)
Hero...?

What do you think is the standard line here? c/c and hope more dead money stays in? I thought about making like a weak lead since the pot was multi-way and Villain might raise with any overpair to fold out the rest of the hands. I didn't like c/r because that just screams "I flopped a set" to me. What do you do?

check call flop since it's so dry.

more villians in pot on turn more inclined you should be to lead out.

A or k on turn u should more likely c/r allowing the pfr or whoever to take a stab at the pot

the more aggro the villian left on the turn, the more likely u should be to c/r and visa versa

I like checking the flop because of your relative position to the preflop raiser. However, if you check and Villain bets and gets a couple calls from the CO and Button, when you check-raise the flop it'll look like u have a monster.

But I really don't like check-call and lead turn, it's just a weird line. And check-call, check turn could lead to everyone checking behind on the turn.

I guess I'd still check-raise flop.

I meant lead the flop, not check-call and lead turn. I can't really figure out a way to play this hand that disguises my hand at all besides leading the flop.

I would check this flop and call most times. c/r-ing is way too strong vs. an observant player, and he will fold strong holdings. I c/c and see the turn.

orange, where do we go from here? I'll give you some of the rest of the action.

I checked, Hero bet $28, folded to me, I called. I agreed that c/r was way too strong. Turn was the 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], I checked, he checked. Now what? I'm really putting him on a big ace at this point and, unless he pairs on the river and loses his mind, there's no way I'll extract that many chips.

Could a weak lead on the flop inspire him to raise? I'm really confused on how to play this hand for max value.

the interesting side question that this inspires for me, is, how often do we (or should we) c/r this flop with air (or relative air, say, 33)

Since it ended up heads up. I like a check call and lead turn line.

I'd probably do a check/call, weak lead turn line (hoping for a raise so I can push).

The big ace will check behind the turn, and there's a good chance he'd check behind with an overpair, too, with your check/call. I think with a weakish turn lead, you fold out the big aces (unless an A hits), but you probably at least get a crying call from overpairs, and maybe a raise.

weak lead on the turn works. checking works as well. I might check again, because thats what I do with like 88 and the like here (or something like TT...I prob fold 88 in this spot on the flop but whatever).
