I see the "delayed raise" a lot a PS. That is people hitting their hand on the turn and waiting until the river to raise. Much more than I remember at Party. Annoys me to no end.

But getting 5-1, I don't think you can fold 2nd set. I think you'll catch a bluff, smaller set, rivered 2-pair, misclick, etc. often enough.

Do you have any reads/stats on villian?

Is it ever right to 3-bet the river? (Maybe if the flush wasn't there?)

Exactly. No flush = shove river.

OP, you played the hand fine.

I think the river card is more significant than the river raise. That its a total and utter blank means he likes his hand allot before the river.

MUBS aside, what does villian call a pot sized bet with on the turn on a 3 flush board and make a please call me raise with on a river blank?

When 3 betting where the action indicates a distinct possibility of a monster ask yourself how easy folding to another raise of any size is.

Oh he'll have a flush here a lot. No one's saying we're probably good, but we only have to be good ~20% of the time for this call to be profitable, and we certainly are good that often.
