Make a real raise preflop, bet the flop, and never make 1/3 pot turn bets. Are you usually a limit player?

Forget about this hand, your problems are deeper. Go read the FAQ, go through all the digests and important posts, and then start reading and posting in the microNL forum (the one below this one).

To answer your question though, I would raise to around 9 preflop. On the turn, 2/3 pot.

raise 4bet pre, raise flop, bet more on turn. gross river, but i probably c/c depending on river bet size. you have top set and you have 16 dollars in on the turn? you must be joking me.
