Looks like he turned you. It happens. I can't see a hand you beat here.

Is betting this turn standard? I would usually check. Seems real thin if it's for value, as that queen is going to scare off most weaker tens than yours. I suppose it could be to get value against draws. I think checking allows you to get more money out of weaker one pair hands, while minimizing losses against monsters, and preventing you from getting blown off your hand in the case he's c/r bluffing or semibluffing here.

I think its pretty standard bc a lot of his range is draws which will obv fold river(someitmes bluff but meh) and we will get sometimes one bet form pairs on river.

All in all, i think i prefer turn bet here. check and call or bet river is so SSNL pot control bs

I don't really see what is so donkey-ish sick-hot about opp in this hand? You raised with a mediocre hand, got called, you hit a piece, blah blah - I mean, seems pretty standard all the way through? He could show up with many hands that would have been appropriate to play the same from his end?

It totally is player dependant, some players will never make a turn c/r semi bluff like this, they would have done it on the flop. Betting the turn here is very standard IMO vs a non tricky player. You probably have the best hand, but there are loads of draws on the board and worse hands definitely call. Vs a really tricky player I might check this behind because they'll check raise this turn a decent amount and it's going to be tough to continue. I guess you could push back if you think he is on some kind of draw, but I'd bet without a good read vs this type of player we are behind after the turn c/r often.

You're never ever winning, fold. Your opponent isn't necessarily a donkey, maybe he has QT, maybe this is his way to play 77, maybe he has a hand like QhJh. None of this is sick donkey-esque outdraw stuff. Now, it is entirely possible he peeled with AQ or Q7 or some stupid hand. Either way, don't stress, just fold and move on, you're beat here. IMO checking behind to control pot size and to not lose T9 is OK too.
