Default One More Week for PCA Qualifying

I think I am going to try two $58 freezeouts and one $109 freezeout to get into the Saturday tourney. I had given up but what the [censored], I'll give it a couple more shots. Two weekly qualifiers for me so far with nothing to show.

How much was everyone in for before they won their seat, or how much are you currently stuck for?

Im in about $600 so far.

I played a 27r to the 475 yesterday and won my seat to the 475. I was dead tired though as the $475 kicked off, but I soldiered on and had an average stack with 100 left (17 seats) going into the 3rd break. I could no longer keep my eyes open though, and I needed to do SOMETHING. Unfortunately I made the worst decision possible: I clicked the sit out button and decided to take a 15 minute nap as the break started, meaning (in theory) I'd only miss 10 minutes of the 100/200 - 25 level.

I ran up to my old room at my parents house and set the alarm on my phone to wake me up at 8:32pm, or so I thought. I woke up in a panic at 9:30pm and ran down stairs to see I had been blinded off in 62nd about 5 minutes earlier.

1) I could have just had any of the 90 people I trust on AIM take over for a few minutes for me in case I overslept. I didn't do this.

2) I could have used the reliable old alarm clock in my room. I didn't do that. Instead I used the alarm feature on my Razr. This is about the 20th time since getting that phone that I've improperly set the alarm and overslept various things.

3) I could have told my dad "hey if I'm not back down in 15 minutes could you wake me up? thanks!" I didn't do that.

4) I could have JUST BREWED A [censored] CUP OF TEA. I DIDN'T DO THAT EITHER.

Whenever it's something real important to be awake for, I set all 5 alarms on my phone - 4-5min apart.

I got in for basically nothing, but I farmed the smaller rebuy sats to save up T$ for the weeklies. Took three weeklies before I got one.

If I was a shrink, I'd say you have a clear subconcious desire to sabotage yourself.

This is it, folks. Tomorrow, Saturday December 30th, is the last PCA satellite. It's at 17:00 ET, T#38637247. We had 353 players in the last one (17 seats). I won't be surprised to see 20-25 seats in this one.

C'mon out and get on the last plane to the Bahamas.

Best regards,
Lee Jones

Meh, giving up was the most +EV move I've made in months. I'm gearing up for the WSOP sats though.
