Default TT bet/fold turn on double paired board?

There are no working full tilt converters, are there?

SB is 24.2/6.4/1.3 over 900ish hands. BB is unknown.

Folded to me in button with T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] , I raise, both blinds call.

Flop is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Check, check, I bet, both call

Turn sucks at 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Check, check...?

At first I thought to bet because any sane hand is c/ring me and I can fold. In retrospect though, would it be better to check behind and call a river donk, spending the same amount of $ and maybe picking of an A high bet?

I would bet the turn and fold if SB raises. If BB raises I'll fold if the pot's protected otherwise I'd calldown.

Definitely fire on the turn. You will get called down by A high here quite often and you don't want to give a free card to FD and overcards.

I probably fold (definitely if it's SB) if I get raised on the turn.

Probably bet. Would you bet A-high OOP on the river if you were them - where is the value? Betting = Charge those bastards two bets each (waste one bet if behind and are raised). Checking = Call the river bet only when top paired boated up on the turn.

Bet = make 2+ bets when ahead, lose 1 bet when behind
Check = make 0 bets when ahead, lose 1 bet when behind

(the above only applies if they won't bluff raise but it seems pretty convincing)

I agree with this.

Against 1 tricky opponent I would consider the check turn - call river line. But not against 2 opponents, there is simply too much value to be gained from betting and its much easier to lay it down to a raise.

Problem is if the TAG is holding KQ and the BB has A7, you are giving a free card to a 9 outer. If someone has an 8, you have two outs, so I think it's better to just bet/fold.
