Here's what he wrote about me in OOT...

I hold an unpopular viewpoint so I'm penalized for it... doesn't seem fair. NT, you spend a lot of time taking shots at me, and not so much actually modding. There were two spam threads that took over twenty minutes to get deleted yesterday, as well as threads created merely to provide a link to hardcore porn, but you give me embarrasing titles? I put thought and effort into my posts NT, regardless of how laughable you consider my opinion to be, so if your way of disagreeing with me is placing me with an elementary style title rather than actually challenging one of the points I took time in writing, I sort of feel bad for you. I'd like my title taken away because I think it's a pretty big abuse of power, and I don't think it is warranted, sorry if this is the wrong forum but I have never had any issue with a mod before today. Here is the thread in question, if any other moderator or admin believes my participation here was out of line or simply to stir the pot & worthy of a penalization, by all means leave my title.

20 mins to delete a spam thread is pretty good actually.
Mods don't get paid and they shouldn't have to sit there and baby-sit the forums to delete a spam thread the very second it is posted. Before the mods, such spam threads would have lasted for several hours or even days. Regarding the title though, I don't even need to see the thread to know that this isn't appropriate. Posters shouldn't have to put up with such a title if they don't want it. Mods shouldn't take such a condescending and power-trippy attitude of, "I have the power to change your title and there's nothing you can do about it....nyah, nyah, nyah". I'm just speaking to this particular action by NT and not to his modding in general which I really don't know much about.

I think most posters have a love/hate thing going with Dementia - on one hand he takes an incredible amount of abuse yet keeps getting off the canvas and coming back for more. Much respect. On the other, he consistently takes contrarian viewpoints and stubbornly refuses to give up when his logic has been refuted over...and over. Bob, I know from your time here as mod you're a little more, uh, polite than most of us, but the title is probably warranted. Besides, dude scores a custom title (that's not a *), a lot of posters would maim for that!

[/ QUOTE ] While I know NT has wanted to give me a title for weeks, (he's given me once before but it was removed by someone), I strongly disagree Tuq. The thread that led to the title being given was an entirely subjective one, it was not a thread where my opinion could be proven 'wrong', it was an issue that people are going to be on opposite sides of the fence with. I happened to be on the other side of the fence, but I'm sure you'd agree I did not just write "i disagree with yall lawlz", actually took time and tried to present my feelings on the subject at hand in a mature manner Tuq, thats what frustrates me about being given a demeaning title.

It's clearly more of a "Lifetime Achievement Award" (albeit a lifetime of <3 months) than your performance in that thread - which I strongly disagree with, but then again differing opinions are what makes the world go round blah blah blah let's huggle it out. There was a poster - I'm thinking Microbet, because I remember it associated with his avatar - who had the title "Worst Poster Ever" for a long time. I'm pretty sure I'm right because I noticed today his title is now "Best Poster Ever". I say just have a LOL about it, take some comfort in the fact that most people are mediocre and as such don't stand out from the crowd, and don't let it ruin your holidays. There are also probably many mod actions - taken by guys like Nick B. and daryn, whom are rarely criticized yet obviously impactful - that a regular user wouldn't ever notice. 20 mins/mod action seems very reasonable considering OOT's setup, and I'd bet that the real ratio is even higher.
