Default Hiring a Personal Assistant

So I half-jokingly batted this idea around for a few months with my buddies until I was finally approached by a dear friend who asked me to do her a favor and hire her friend and soon-to-be roommate. Her roommate seems very receptive to the idea of working for me. The more and more I thought about it, the more and more hiring a personal assistant made sense to me. Even if she can free up an extra hour per day, and I use this extra hour to play poker just 25% of the time, it still makes a lot of sense on paper.

So basically, here's the setup.

- I plan on paying her cash (completely off the books)..she sets her own hours, 5-10 hours per week.
- She will do honest to God bitch work for me...laundry, dishes, errands, etc.
- It is unavoidable for me to not see her socially.
- She has impeccable references...I can trust her, and I can feel confident that she will be able to handle anything I throw at her.

So I need some serious advice on this subject. It makes so much sense on paper, but I'm worried about some of the obvious pitfalls of more or less hiring a well-paid slave, especially one who will be hanging out with me and my friends.

Oh yes....other essential info

1. Yes, she is above-average hotness
2. No, I will not be willing or able to tap that in the foreseeable future.

I like it.

Does she clean bathrooms and stuff too?

I think the key to making this work will be working out some sort of schedule for her hours. I don't think a "work when she wants to" arrangement will work out. It would probably be less of an issue if there wasn't the social aspect of it.

That's going to be the awkward part I think. Seems pretty easy to be out with friends at a bar and say "OK, you're on the clock, go get me a beer."

I think there are serious pitfalls to growing Kramerica Industries too quickly.

Just a guess, but I'd say he's already spoken for.

Gonores, what are the cons against this? You've listed the pros, but I didn't see any cons. What line of work are you in? You married? There are other questions I have based off of these two.

Actually, this could turn out to be an advantage as well. Hot girls usually have hot friends, and since this one is going to see every little part of your home life, she could easily talk about you to her other friends if you're not a jackass to her.
