I tell myself that he doesn\'t have me beat.
Villain is a total unknown, but assuming he's a general PR 2/4 player, I think he's raising any overpair and any high club on this flop. I personally put him on AK or AQ with no clubs. Thoughts?
Texas Hold'em $2-$4 , Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] PRE-FLOP 1 fold, Hero raises, Villain 3-bets, 7 folds, Hero caps, Vllain calls. FLOP [board cards 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] Hero bets, Villain calls. TURN [board cards 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ] Hero bets, Villain calls RIVER [board cards 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] Hero bets Edited to add: I was prepared to fold to a raise at any point.

Most pokerroom 2/4 tables are full of TAGs, whether they be weak-tight or tricky. Most of the ones I run against tend to suffer from a major case of FPS.

[/ QUOTE ] There's also a good chance he called you with a pocket pair or overs with a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. It's not a big pot. Why bother? Any reasonble player won't call you down with at least a pair or a draw to a high flush. Putting him on overs and keep firing is just wishful thinking. If a TAG is still contesting for this pot in this spot, I'm check-folding the turn in a nanosecond. And I feel really good doing it.
