my boss just called and demanded that i leave by noon. He said if i want to leave earlier i can. The rest of the day is paid. This rules. I saw one of the girls in the voting thread mention this too. I'm thinking ill be gone by 1030. who else is on this boat?

i've never had a job that required me to stay the entire day before a holiday.
i only came in 'for show' and free food. out @ noon or when i get bored.

We used to get days like this off paid, but it's slowly evolved to leaving 1-2 hours early and using your own P.T.O. Lame. Of course my boss isn't even here today.
