i toss this hand out of hte BB more than i play it. but on that flop. i bet flop and 3 bet it if necessary.
as played, i hate your spot, does CO have a better high? (kk/AA, two pair) and button just jamming A2xx? if you're going to play to knock-out CO, raise it. grit your teeth playing for that dead money. this is def. a TstoneMBD hand. . . |

you wouldn't defend here against a guy who raises 20 percent of all his hands? I also actually folded on the turn. I am merely presenting the options that I could do as this was a tricky spot for me.

This is one of those spots where it hurts a lot more when you're behind than it helps when you're ahead. You can be dominated in any number of ways, so this is probably not the best time to play for the high half of a pot.

because our OP has the 9s as blockers and the flush redraws, i'm more inclined to continue. i might check-raise to bluff out a better high and maybe the button will think we're winning both ways and fold.
i don't like a call down as it's a little weak and and a two pair hand will go to showdown in that siutation. |

Price - Fold.
You're only playing for half the pot, and you're not likely to get that. You probably started out wanting to see a queen or nine on the flop, but that didn't happen - and at this point a queen or a nine might make a straight for one of your opponents. A cardinal rule is to not draw for cards that probably make a better hand for an opponent than you. Your best bet is to catch a jack on the river, and then you win for high and might not get tied. You also like diamonds. Against just two opponents, your queen flush will win most of the time. But CO's original bet could represent a better diamond draw than you have. Somebody could already have two pairs or a straight. More likely Button is either simply betting position or is betting a low. You just don't have enough outs to continue for half the pot. It's an easy fold. Buzz |

fold preflop, fold the flop, you are overvaluing your hands.
