Re: Trips in your hand ain\'t so bad
I think if you are just doing this as a bluff its OK, certainly you are behind their hands though, this is a good spot to bluff though because noone else has AA for sure.

Yeah, terrible, you're always behind preflop.

My sarcasm meter needs recalibrating.
OP's push is good, for value, against anything PF. |

[/ QUOTE ] Am I being leveled? You're ahead of pretty much everything or even $. Some people will be folding, meaning free $$ for you when someone that's even calls you which they probably won't since they don't have AA. So yes, this is good. Re: Trips in your hand ain\'t so bad
AAAx ss agaisnt random hands:
1 opponent = 60/40 2 opponents = 40/30/30 3 opponents = 27/24/24/24 4 opponents = 21/20/20/20/20 AAAx ss against good hands: 1 opponent (top 10% of hands) = 62/38 2 opponents (top 15% of hands) = 40/30/30 3 opponents (top 20% of hands)= 28/24/24/24 4 opponents (top 25% of hands) = 20/20/20/20/20 So it's really important that you have as few opponents as possible. But a good rundown hand has you in a bit of trouble here, but not enough to make it -EV for you, so long as you're sure you can get it heads up, because you're seriously screwed against two rundown hands (like 28/36/36 with your hand telegraphed and a fair ammount of BBs left behind). |

Re: Trips in your hand ain\'t so bad
I 2 dimed it after the hand and was a little surprised that the trip Aces hand doesn't do much worse then Aces.
Getting this much of my stack in pf as a guaranteed favorite with a nice overlay with the intention of always committing the rest is never a bad thing. As long as you can get over 35-40% of it in the middle pf. Getting between 10-25% in pf against in a multiway pot would have been quite bad with trips obviously. |

Re: Trips in your hand ain\'t so bad
Fold the first time, once you have limped you have no real choice but to play it that way.
