Tough decision with JJ....
This hand is from Tain. Didn't find a converter, so will do it manually. I'm just as interested in comments on my thinking process as I am on the actual hand!
Villain in this hand was around 38/15 at the time, seemed aggressive but I didn't have that many hands on him. One thing I did notice was that he said "Call" after going all in on the turn against another player, but the other one folded so I have no idea if it was a bluff or not. 0.25/0.50 on Tain, 6 max Hero is on the button with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], around $100 stack Villain is the SB with a $50.70 stack Folded to me, I open for $2, villain raises to $6.25 quickly. I haven't seem him reraise from the blinds yet, so I decide to play cautiously, hoping for low cards on the flop. Flop comes 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], villain bets pot ($13), I'm thinking he either has AK or TT+. At this point I'm thinking a raise will commit me, and I'm not sure I'm ahead often enough here. I decide to call, hoping he'll give up if he has unpaired high cards. Turn comes 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], and he goes all in for his remaining $30.70. Pot is around $38.50 now. What's my line? I had to think as long as I could before I made a decision, so I really have no idea what I should have done. All comments appreciated! |
