Default 99 against a mini-raise

im away from my PT but if memory serves me correctly, villain had respectable stats.

for this hand note, that i am short-stacked.
as usual, comments on all streets are welcome.

hero's stack ~$50
villain's stack ~$90

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $4</font>, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($12.5, 3 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">UTG bets $5</font>, CO folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $13</font>, UTG calls.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($38.5, 2 players)

you played the flop horribly. that's the kind of flop you were trying to avoid and you C/R it? ever cross your mind villain raised w/ Ax and he's not folding?

if the Ace werent on the flop, i could get behind how you played it a bit more but as is no dice.

Unless I'm going mad this is a super-standard check-fold. Flop check-raise and turn bet is complete spew, IMO.

i could go either way on shoving although i think it's probably the right thing to do. w/ just a call, i like this line best. call preflop; check-folding this particular flop.
