i don't like the turn rr... the flop is ~dry, except for an OESD which completed on the turn

i would often rr flop, though a call is by no means horrible on this board, but don't rr turn

If BB going pot, pot is out of character (you should know this) then raising the turn is not the best but generally I will be happy playing for stacks on this board.

I play it excactly the same. You get stacked on a board like this against a 40/14 vilain, thats just the way it is. These are normally +EV situations with an OP here so you played it fine

I think this is fine... you are swapping mistakes to make a bigger gain, just unlucky that he happens to stack you here. When you pick up AA vs someone you think is a donkey, then your going to be losing a big chunk when they happen to have the best hand. However, if you are doing this vs every 48/14/1.5 your coming across then I think that's probably wrong and raising the flop to see where your at it a better idea.

Call the turn. If you're going to raise somewhere then make it the flop.
