Is JTs strong enough to pull this?
No useful reads except on myself...I just drank a Starbuck's Venti Latte, and suddenly my monitor seems much, much closer to my face.

Re: Is JTs strong enough to pull this?
I think you are good here.
Pre flop raise and flop raise with middle pair/ bdfd I love. From the turn on I assume your looking for a cheap showdown unless you improve. If you check behind on the turn, CO will likely bet river if a blank falls and you will probably be calling for 1BB. If you bet turn, he will usually call and then check the river. If you haven't improved check behind the river. You have still seen the showdown for 1 bet but have the added benefit that CO might fold to the turn bet. Obviously if you take this line you have to fold to the dreaded turn check raise - but you still only paid one BB to find out your beat. |

Re: Is JTs strong enough to pull this?
I think the preflop raise is a little loose, but you do have two non blind posters and raising builds a nice size pot that will pay off big if we win so I'm good with it.
No other way to play the flop. I suspect were up against a king but here's where your preflop raise makes nice: by raising the CO you represent AA or better (2P, trips, etc.) thereby giving you a free card (if you need it) on the turn. Turn bet is also the right line. With the PP, a 4th nut FD, and a GSSD your equity is big no need to take the free card |

Obviously if you take this line you have to fold to the dreaded turn check raise [/ QUOTE ] Like hell--we've got plenty of outs here, and while none of them are to the nuts this is a trivial peel. |

I really liked how you played this hand.
The turn bet is perfect in this large pot. |

Re: Is JTs strong enough to pull this?
Folding to a turn-raise is wrong on that board, but what if a non-heart comes? Pretty easy fold, no?

Re: Is JTs strong enough to pull this?
I dont think I'd check/raise that flop.
There's not much he could be betting on the flop, so he probably has a made hand. Seeing the turn is pretty obvious. |
