Reads are extremely important in situations like this. Do you have any? Game flow is also important. Have you and villain been getting into it a lot, or is this the first confrontation you've had?

I'd feel better about a fold if you bet 22 on the flop.

No reads on this guy at the time, it was the first confrontation. Game flow, idk I was relatively new to the table and I was focusing on a few other tables at the time.
