biggest vertical
not how far your feet are from the ground, but how hi the tips of your fingers get in the air?
Which nba players you think can touch the highest point? (throw in any athlete from any sport as well if necessary) I would go with garnett in his prime, but I am not sure |

Michael Jordan...though that could be hang time more than vertical leap. [/ QUOTE ] there's essentially no such thing as 'hang time' other than as it relates to height. the higher you go, the more time you are 'hanging' for |

Re: biggest vertical
i think i heard that shawn kemp had about a 50" vertical. throw that in with his 6'10" standing height, and he'd be in the 'all time' running.
currently, would amare be in the running? |

Re: biggest vertical
If I remember correctly, Drexler had the highest. They did some kind of dunk contest where they would raise the backboard I think to see who could dunk at the highest height, and he won.

Re: biggest vertical
I don't think many of the highest jumpers in the world are in the NBA.

Re: biggest vertical
Michael Olawakandi is over 7 feet and has some crazy 45 in vertical or something, that is why he got picked so high when he blows. My next guess would be Tyrus Thomas
