flopped two pair in the blinds
is there any other way to play this one?
*they're all pretty bad but nothing notable. UB $1/$2 LHE 6 max 6/6 Chun li is in the small blind with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pre-flop: one fold, MP calls, one fold, BT calls, Chun li completes, BB checks (4 small bets) Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Chun li bets, BB folds, MP calls, BT raises, Chun li three-bets, MP folds, BT calls. i mighta been able to stop and go this flop bc there's some straight draws out there but i didn't think BT would raise for a free card here and was more likely to have a worse king or 78 or something so i pumped. i also wanted MP to pay as much as possible to be stuck in the middle (5.5 bets) Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Chun li bets, BT raises, Chun li calls okay, the strongest draw came in and a fairly strong king may have made a better two pair. beyond that, a slowplayed set could make sense (people at 1/2 do this a lot...). my hand is still very strong but probably not strong enough to three-bet. (9.5 bets) River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Chun li checks, BT bets, Chun li calls (11.5 bets) look okay? bbbushu |

Re: flopped two pair in the blinds
Definitely don't 3bet the turn. It doesn't look like you beat much at this point. However, I think you can safely call down because of (1) your chance to fill up, (2) the possibility that button is tilt raising or trying an ill-thought out bluff, and (3) the possibility that button has grossly overplayed a hand like AA or AK.

Re: flopped two pair in the blinds
Postflop looks good to me, for reasons you and Sweetjazz already gave. (The commentary in blue in the original post is pretty good, although I personally wouldn't have even considered a stop-n-go on the flop. If we really wanted to "trap" MP, though, the stop-n-go might be the best way to do it.)

Post seems fine, but do u really complete K7o here? [/ QUOTE ] FWIW, I don't, which is why I said "Postflop seems good to me." I suspect it doesn't matter a whole lot, though. |
