OP,

Yeah, you're beat here quite often, but you'll also find this to be a busted draw or smaller two pair. I'd guess a set leads the turn or check/raises the turn. Both options are fine; there's no clear answer for this one. Sucks if you were beat.

it was just a tough hand. hard to put him on anything. he had 52 spades.
