Villain is a very aggressive LAG. He'll raise with TPNK. He'll lead with middle pair. He'll check-raise with draws. You get the picture.
I also play a pretty aggressive game. So while villain has no problem raising against me, it's not too likely he perceives me as being weak/tight or anything like that. He just likes to throw his chips around. So, here' the observation - When a villain who's as aggressive as this villain is smooth calls on a scary board like this, he's got a monster. How accurate do you think this statement is? Discuss, please. |

I always get a little suspicious when opponents play different from their usual styles. If this type of villain hit this board in any way, he is probably raising, so my guess is monster.

As you describe him, this could be a monster, a TP type hand or a draw or a float. I would not automatically put him on a monster. Of course your hand is only a bluff catcher so maybe you fire again a certain % of time on a safe turn.
If you hand was AA then teh turn is a tough one. |

Well he either has a monster or a real stinker like 22 that he canīt let go off. Proceed with caution, I donīt know how excited you should be about an A or a K on the turn. If he paused exactly 3 seconds before the call he has a monster ~99% of the time.

Well the guy can't raise without pushing so if he has KJ he may not push in this spot.

Really? Elaborate, please.
P.S. This hand was intended as more of a hypothetical hand than an actual one. But, still, I'd love to hear your reasoning . |
