Help me size my bets.
Is there a better sized bet I could have made on either of these hands that could have maximized my profits without making it cheap enough to get drawn out on? $5 is nice..but I can' help but feel I could have made more.

Re: Help me size my bets.
#1 Don't post if you aren't the BB, ever.
1) A potsized raise on the flop would be 2.4, but I'd usually bet about 2, as it makes it easier for him to call and easy enough to get his semi-small stack in on the turn. A good rule of thumb I've used is to bet about 1/3 of villains stack if I wan't to get AI on the next street. 2) Flop raise is a perfect potsized raise. On the turn I'd bet pot again. |

Re: Help me size my bets.
hand 1 is fine, if anything i bet a little more on the flop.
hand 2 i prolly bet a little bigger on the turn, the rest is fine. like $0.8-1.0 or something. Doesnt really make a huge difference. If they dont have a hand, they dont have a hand... nothing you can do about it. Just try and bet so you get value from their decent hands/draws, rather than trying to suckout every last penny just incase they have a crap hand that wont call more than a minbet. |
