Two Super Geniuses
On the river it heads up and the board is 8TKJ8.
Player in the 3 seat bets. Player in the 10 seat raises and the 3 seat calls. Player in the 10 seat has AQ for broadway. Seat 3 tries to power muck his hand, but the cards catch some air and never reach the muck. One of his cards flips over face up on the felt....it's a J. The player in seat 10 then proceeds to reach out and flip the other face down card over. It too is a J. Who gets the pot? |

Re: Two Super Geniuses
10 Seat. 3's hand would have been deader than dead if he was clearly intending to fold whether it hit the muck or not. Although, wow, I don't have any idea how I could explain that to the floor. How is 3 folding here?

Re: Two Super Geniuses
Ten seat loses because he flipped the card over. It is the same as asking to see the hand. Everywhere I have played, if the winner asks to see the opponents mucked cards, the cards are live.

Re: Two Super Geniuses
I rule for seat 3. Seat 10 wanted to see the hand, and it bit him in the ass.
Still liking the dark side? You cleaning up over there? |
