In all of this short-stack discussion, I realized that I must have some kind of misunderstanding of the term "datamining," and don't know at all what "HUD" means.
At least it was put out there that "datamining" is frowned upon or even a form of cheating. Surely that can't mean looking in detail at one's pokertracker stats for the various players at the table (which I definitely do all the time), so could someone please explain to me what "datamining" and "HUD" actually are? |

Datamining is when you mine hand history stats on players that you haven't played before by opening numerous tables and using poker tracking software. Certain sites won't let you datamine. |
