Default Scrabble Tournament: Discussion

I have been playing scabble on a decent program ( can I post the link without it being considered spam?), and thought it would be cool to do a NCAA Bracket style tournament of Scrabble.

For rules, I was thinking best 2 out of 3 for the first couple of rounds, then 3 out of 5 for final four/championship matchup. 20 minutes, maybe 25 if you guys would like. I'd set up everything, so I would just need partcipants. We could have a deadline of a week to finish your matchup for that game, so you would have plenty of time.

Single- If you challenge a word and you are wrong, nothing happens. If the word challeneged is not a word, opponent loses turn and points of that word.

Double- If you challenge a word and you are wrong, you lose your turn. If the word challenged is not a word, opponent loses turn and points of that word.

VOID- Words will not be accepted in the game, unless they are an actual word.

-5 Points- If you challenge a word, and it is a word, you lose 5 points.

My understanding is that "double" is the US rules, but in Scrabble tournaments elsewhere typical is the "-5" rule.
Not in, for now at least.

i'm fine w/ double or -5 then. void sucks - it takes away half of the game
