So lately I've been remember, very vividly, bits of my dreams throughout the day. Sometimes I have to wonder if they really happened or not for a while. Luckily, some are so far fetched that it doesn't matter, but some are not. It's really hurting my concentration.
I sleep, on average, at least 6 hours a night, and have been getting more like 8 hours as of late (this is a great # for me and I've worked hard to get this). I think I have to start exercising more as that will help me sleep better. Any other advice? |

Do not eat late. Watch what you eat for your last meal as food effects how you sleep. Some people for example have nightmares if they eat bananas before sleeping. Six hours is not bad, it is probably all your body needs if you are not active.

it's not really nightmares, just remembering bits of the dreams I did have throughout the day, and sometimes days later.
I don't think I'm not getting enough sleep, you're right. I work in an office, so even if I do try and "be active" it isn't all too much. Regardless I will consider your advice about not eating late. I have been trying to eat less lately so I'm hungry more. But that just usually makes it so that instead of eating dinner at 7pm I eat at like 9:30/10pm. Thanks. |

Dreams are not bad for you. In fact, they demonstrate that you're getting deep "REM" sleep. I'd be more worried for you if you posted that you never dream. I wish I could remember more of my dreams (thought about "training" for lucid dreaming, but it's too much work right now).
It really sounds like the problem is during the day, something's happening to switch your mind off so completely to "re-live" these dreams. (You're not falling asleep, are you?) |

Smoke some DMT and you'll be visualizing dreamlike sequences like never before!

I remember bits and pieces of dreams very vividly too in the middle of the day, and I'll agree it's pretty weird, but nothing I'm concerned about. Sometimes I'll see someone who triggers a memory of a dream, and my mind starts racing. Thinking back, though, I believe I went a long time, almost an entire year, without dreaming back in highschool. Ignignokt: could that have been because of lack of sleep? I generally got between 4 and 5 hours then as opposed to my now 7-8.
