Im sorry I might miss something.. But if you say "its unlikely to push him off if he has a club", why not shove?

because he will probably fold with a pair like 99 or TT and i don't get extra value from him

Thats a different story.
If you suspect he has a club and you think he'll pay, make him pay. Hes got 15% PFR. Suited connectors are certainly in his range. $5 bet into a $16 pot on a draw heavy board is not a value bet. I'd make it around 10-12. |

no, an overbet folds out smaller hands which i can get value from, and a large bet builds a pot that is too big for KK. i want to get value from non-club PP hands, yet be able to get away from Kings if a club hits. betting too large makes me pot committed on the river

A much lesser hand would not call a reraise on the flop. An overpair would still probably call $10 on the turn. And you getting much better value against draws.

ugh, so much wrong here.
You are losing a ton of value by not reraising preflop. Second, if you are going to bet the turn (which is debatable with a 1 pair hand) as played, bet it big so you know where you stand on the river. River is a fold, you can find much better spots than this... |
