5/10 (400NL) Commerce Turn Semi-Bluff
Villain has 750ish
Hero covers Everyone on table has been playing fairly straightforward postflop, villain is relatively new but hasn't done anything out of line yet. History with him was he flopped trips against my flopped TPTK and won a decent sized pot off me when I bet/3-bet his flop c/r and he pushed AI 4 bet me (to which I mucked). Lots of must-move table players on my table (including this guy), so I probably don't seem as aggressive as I once seemed.... although I do have that previous hand with villain. Preflop: Hero is on button with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls $10, 2 folds, MP1 calls $10, Villain in MP2 calls $10, Hero calls $10, 1 fold, BB checks. Flop: ($55) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) BB checks, UTG checks, Villain bets $60, Hero calls $60, rest of field folds. Turn ($175) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets $120, Hero raises to $400. Raise gooooot? |

Villain hasn't done anything out of line yet [/ QUOTE ]/ He's leadimg out into 4 otherplayers in a limped pot 2 barrels. I think he's prettty stong. I don't like this spot. |

Re: 5/10 (400NL) Commerce Turn Semi-Bluff
Usually raise PF.
I'm not thrilled with the flop call, with 3 people yet to act, but it's probably okay, since they're probably passive and will call with all sorts of crap. I would be hesitant to raise here, but the 9 is a good scare card. I'd have to think there was a good chance he was betting a draw, or value betting thin to try it. Definitely hit the T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the river. |
