Re: 55 from SB 5/10 Turn Ace
Do you have any notes or stats on this villain? Against an unknown...
I think preflop is good. Personally, I would have probably called the flop. I think the check-raise is good. As played, I think you should bet the turn trying to take it down there and fold to a raise. However, I think you'll have a bit of a problem if he calls the turn and a non-5, non-4 hits the river. |

Re: 55 from SB 5/10 Turn Ace
I don't think he can fold to a turn raise with likely 6 outs getting 8 to 1 plus implied. I would check/call the turn and check/fold the river UI.

Re: 55 from SB 5/10 Turn Ace
C/R the turn. Build on your previous action and rep the AA, KK, AK triad. A good bluff is not the action of one street--it is the summation of all the action that has taken place up to that point. Any show of weakness now and you'll have to rely on your draw to win.
Thoughts on flop? B/F would have been a lot less expensive and risky. |

I would c/f the turn. What do you beat vs. an unknown 3better?
Not many hands.. |

Also, I think getting an opponent off a better hand is part of the reason we would follow up the flop check-raise with a bet on the turn... |
