I'm illiterate!! Anybody else forget how to handwrite?

A month or so ago I was watching the local news and they were doing a piece on the state of literacy in our province. I wasn't paying much attention (probably thinking to myself-illiterate morons) until they broke down the percentages of people that could read, write etc. I decided to test my handwriting skills so I grabbed a pen and paper. I end up drawing a blank on a good number of letters. I run upstairs and start yelling, OMG, I'M ILLITERATE!!.

The past weekend we were drinking and playing 200's with another couple, I decided to test their writing skills, none of us could write the entire alphabet. Eventually we figured it out as a group.

Now, in my defense, I graduated college in 1993, which would have been the last time I did any handwriting and even then it was probably a mix of printing. I expect most of you youngins still know how to write, how about the older farts?

I randomly tried to write in cursive the other day and couldn't do it. Whatever, cursive is gay anyways.

I did this as well a month or two ago. My hand wrote just fine, but it was just squiggles on the paper.

not getting all the letters is pretty awful, unless its cursive...however, my form is terrible as is my structure...im glad i work in an artistic field because i don't think i could draft a proper essay or letter without a ton of help...

Are you saying you couldn't remember how to write in cursive, or you couldn't remember the [censored] alphabet?
