For general health reasons, not body building etc. I bought some Vitamin C tablets today because they taste good and were on sale. Other than that, none. There was a big fad over Omega 3 here recently, would like to hear thoughts on these and others vitamins and dietary supplements, especially for people who have poor diets. And tell me what you take, if any.

I eat low-carb, so I supplement pretty well - I take 3 omega-3 fish oil pills, a general multivitamin and an antioxidant booster pill every day, along with a baby aspirin. I take the antioxidant in the morning, the multivitamin at night and the omega-3 pills spread out through the day to make sure it all gets absorbed.
I'm happy with all of them, which could be due to their effects or it could be due to the fact that I now weigh way (triple-digits) less than I used to and am in the best physical shape of my life. -j. |

I take glucosamine, which was recommended to me by another rock climber. I just started and haven't looked into it much yet, but it is supposed to help out with joints and possibly prevent arthritis.
