I'd fold the turn. Unless he's raising the flop with air you're smoked.

even though it's a pretty lame gutshot, we do have a gutshot. just throwing this out there but i would play this hand exactly the same way. i wouldn't even think twice before calling the turn (and maybe i should).

the river should be a bet/fold imo. you obviously have an ace there, so unless he is 3rd leveling you the raise is for value.

my main question was pretty much about the turn. preflop and flop are pretty standard and river I m pretty sure I know its a bet fold (although I didnt make myself do it this time). with the picked up 2 most likely being good I figured my equity with up to 10 outs makes this a call, but wasnt sure how to calculate my equity and most likely overestimated it having to decide quickly since most of the hands that hes raising with and raising the flop with include an A.

For the record I think he raises the flop vs my 3bet with a decent range of steal hands that paired up and alot of pocket pairs he wouldnt cap. Not sure if hed cap 10 10 very likely and JJ most likely.

Im not really sure how to calculate my equity on the turn vs his range im gettin 6:1 is this a call with the possible gutshot and a fold without it? A fold either way?

Turn is a pretty easy call because of a few reasons.

1. You could still have the best hand and he may check the river behind (although I don't think this happens a lot you should consider it)
2. You have a gutshot to possibly the best hand and a 6 will probably split the pot for you.
3. I think you can also give yourself at least 4 outs for the A and the Q vs. this TAG, given that his stealing range is probably wide.

So I would probably play this the same and also bet/fold the river unless I don't feel certain about folding it (it looks like you wasn't), in that case I would just c/c.

I never fold the turn in these spots. getting 6.5:1 HERO only needs around 5.5 outs. With the gutshot and overcards Im peeling

I missed the gutshot with the 2. With that I'd say it swings it to a call, although we have some nasty RIO on the river.

I'd fold the turn because:

A) Villain is almost never raising the flop with air and then cont bet the turn without a piece

b) Your straight outs are not the greatest because: the 6 at best splits the pot at worst it costs you the pot if he's holding an 8 (78, or 88) The 2 also could result in a split if he's holding any piece of that board with an A
An A also could make him 2 pair

There is less then 6 BB in the pot ( rake wasn't taken out in your hand) and it will cost you 2 more BB to see a SD

You are getting about 5:1 to see the river and 3:1 to showdown here.

I turbo muck this on the turn however if I were playing 8 tables at the time I might be inclined to call becasue I could not think the hand thru fast enough which would be a mistake
