When I started reading OOT I had no game and read all the posts from past eternity till current to try to learn from you guys. i joined match.com, started going out to bars, even stopped playing poker at my local b&M after 10 pm on weekends so I could go out to bars.

Girl 1: Match.com chick, go out on 2 dates. doesnt work out and she says she didnt want it to take it to next level. I feel crushed as she was smart, good lookin and intelligent. Learn from OOT to move on to next one.

Girl 2: Meet her at a bar. Conversation ensues, get her friends phone number, who gives me hers then give her a call . While she was very interested in the bar grinding out against me, flirting with me, in a liquor free day she seemed uninterested.

Girl 3: Third time's the charm. Meet this chick at a local bar. talk for a few hours get a date lined up for friday last week. Dinner-Drinks-Movie-Drinks. No closing that night but set up another date for yesterday. Just drinks.

here is how OOT helped me out.
1) I never offered to buy her alcohol first time we met. I was buying my buddy drinks but didnt offer her. Just conversation. Earlier I was the guy who would buy the girl drinks but she would go home with other guys. you know the type...haha OOT helped me out on that one.

2) reading posts made me feel less shy. I used to always not approach being afraid what if she rejected whatever. reading OOT gave me the courage and I started thinking "whats the worst could happen. she says no. fine. i will still go and talk to her".

3) I started putting time and effort on it. i work 9-6 and then play for 5 hours at b&M every day. leaves no time to try to find a chick. they are not going to drop in my lap out of no where. started making some changes in my life to accomodate the possiblity to meet someone.

4) i used to worry too much about failure. OOT taught me to hit as many targets as possible. and keep repeating. 1 year back i would never think that i could close 2 phone numbers at a bar in 4 outings.
