Re: QQ semi deep oop
Just shove now. If he's bluffing/has worse you calling is most likely going to shut him down and he's not going to fold a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] draw at this point.

Re: QQ semi deep oop
You need to play your hand and listen to jrbrick. There's nothing else you can do. If you end up losing, that's part of the game. I don't think you can get away now.

Re: QQ semi deep oop
You didn't mention if you had a heart, which could be important. Anyway, think about it..1/4 of your stack to call. Thus, if any under card flops, you will be pot committed (Pot is about 500 with you have in like 560). So calling is out. Period. Reraise all in or fold on the spot. Does he usually make it 3 or 3.5 x bb? if he has just reduced his standard raise UTG, glean a tell.
FYI, the raise represents some weakness because he didn't pot it. If you have no read, fold. Otherwise all in is the only option |

Re: QQ semi deep oop
you are marginally infront of AK/AQ maybe KQ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], way ahead of an unlikely JJ and miles behind AA, KK, TT.
w/ no read I think this should be a fold. |

Re: QQ semi deep oop
woops I thought we had TT here... don't know why that was.
Actually this might be a place to check on the flop. Ugh forget what I said before I relly don't know what to do here w/o a read. But yeah I agree w/ jkkk that this is probably going to be a fold. |

Re: QQ semi deep oop
It's push or fold, and having no reads against an UTG raiser makes me believe this could be KK-AA. I lean towards fold because of his smallish raise that wants you to push over it, and his range to make that move with the amount of strength you've shown isn't that wide.
