Could somebody please link me to a previous thread where this was discussed? I've been arguing with other midstake limit and NL players about this.
I suck with the search engine on this site ='(. |

No link but my friend who's played up to $300/600 mixed games as well as pretty big no limit says that if I switch to NL I'll never go back. I haven't done well in NL (plus it's kinda annoying to me) so I'm not big on it yet.

I started out with NL and played around 30K hands or so there, but I greatly prefer to play limit online. I find myself much more likely to tilt playing NL, and if you go card dead, it's agonizingly boring. Put me in a live setting with 300+ BB stacks though, and I'll take NL every day. With that much information to work with, and with that much room to maneuver with in regards to stack size, the decisions are rewarding enough to keep the game interesting even if you only have one big decision to make every two hours. |
